WT Class of 1969 at Graduation

Dear 1969 Graduate,

I am writing to you as a representative of the William Tennent Alumni Association (WTAA), which was reorganized in 2013.  The first official activity developed in that year was to invite members of the 50th anniversary class, the Class of 1963, to the 2013 graduation ceremony to be recognized as graduates of William Tennent High School.  It is an event which the WTAA is excited to have established as a time-honored tradition.

In 2019, twenty graduates from the Class of 1969 will be the invited guests to attend the commencement ceremony at William Tennent High School.  I would like to know if you, along with a guest, would be interested in participating this year.  The following information may assist you with your decision.

​DATE:  Thursday,  June 13, 2019    (Rain Date: Friday, June 14, 2019)

TIME:  3:15pm  –  Reception for dignitaries(including 50-year alumni participants)    In WTHS library

 4:00pm  –  Procession assembles; moves to Alumni Stadium

4:30pm  –  Commencement ceremony begins

6:00pm  –  Conclusion of commencement ceremony (approximate)

If you are interested in being a participant in this program for the William Tennent alumni, please respond to me with your name, mailing address, a telephone number and an E-mail address on or before Wednesday, May 15, 2019. More specific details will then be forwarded to you regarding such particulars as attire, parking, assistance with seating, and inclement weather.    ANY member of the class of 1969 is welcome to participate (not just those who received this letter), so feel free to contact classmates who live out of the area.
